Thank you for applying to be a volunteer at St. Joseph Children's Home. We appreciate your time and support of our mission. To protect the children in our care, we are very vigilant in thoroughly screening everyone who spends times on our campus and has access to the children. For this reason, it is necessary that we conduct background checks on all volunteers who will be on campus on a regular basis. This process is necessary, but also very costly. For this reason we request that everyone who needs a background check, per our volunteer requirements, covers the cost of the obtaining this documentation. Your cooperation and understanding of this process is appreciated.

About Us

Since 1849, St. Joe’s mission has been Giving Children a Home and currently serves nearly 350 children annually across three core programs: residential treatment, foster care and adoption, and child development. We provide children in our care with intensive therapy, safety, education, and most of all, LOVE. We also create families for children in need of foster care and adoption throughout Kentucky.
